Saudi Arabia's Ambitious New Project to Feature Museum, University, and Multipurpose Theatre
Saudi Arabia's Ambitious New Project
A multifunctional theatre, a technology and design
university, and a museum are all part of the new Mukaab project.
A museum, a university for technology and design, a
multifunctional theatre, and more than 80 leisure and cultural venues will all
be part of the new development. More than 25 million square kilometers of floor
space, 104,000 homes, 9,000 hotel rooms, 980,000 square meters of retail space,
1.4 million square meters of office space, 620,000 square meters of leisure
assets, and 1.8 million square meters of community facilities will all be
included in the New Murabba.
The building will have its own transportation system and be
only 20 minutes from the airport by car. The enormous structure is currently
under construction, and completion is anticipated in 2030.
A promotional film depicting the impending development that
was issued by the Saudi Arabian government has gone popular on social media.
The new endeavor is a component of a bigger plan, initially revealed in 2017,
to build a future home for nine million people on the Neom site close to the
Gulf of Aqaba.
The Saudi Arabian government has recently taken on a number
of large-scale initiatives, including the Mukaab. The Mukaab is anticipated to
be a top attraction for both visitors and locals due to its enormous size and
cutting-edge design. Many people are anxiously awaiting the project's
completion since it has already attracted a lot of attention..
