The outburst of Cristiano Ronaldo marks Al-first Nassr's league loss.
Enraged Cristiano Ronaldo of Nassr rushes off the field after Al's defeat while kicking water bottles.
Cristiano Ronaldo was not in
a good mood after losing to the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr in his first league
game.
Cristiano Ronaldo suffered his first league loss while playing for Al-Nassr, continuing the rollercoaster ride that is his time in Saudi Arabia. After the match, the Portuguese superstar was obviously furious and lost control of his emotions.
Al-encounter Nassr's against championship rivals
Al-Ittihad resulted in a discouraging 1-0 loss. Ronaldo had a couple
opportunities to break the score for his team, but wasted chances and poor play
led to the loss.
Ronaldo was observed kicking a group of water bottles on
the field after the final whistle before leaving the field. His teammates tried
to calm him down after the loss, but he was still upset after thanking the
crowd before leaving the field.
This is the second recent instance in which Ronaldo has lost
his cool. A teenage supporter yelled in front of him during a tunnel stroll
following his team's victory over Al Baten that Messi is significantly
superior. Before saying "And that was the easy game" to others
surrounding him, Ronaldo was observed disregarding the supporters.
Over the past ten years, discussions among football fans
have been dominated by comparisons between Ronaldo and Messi. Yet with Messi
leading Argentina to the FIFA World Cup championship and Ronaldo falling out of
favor at Manchester United before joining Al-Nassr, the argument has been
fairly one-sided over the past year.
To put it mildly, Ronaldo's time with Al-Nassr has not
been smooth. Following his departure from Manchester United, his high-profile
transfer to the club garnered media attention, but up to this point, his
performances have been inconsistent. The player had been in excellent form
during the previous several games, but his first league loss led to an
unfortunate incident on the pitch.
Al-Nassr will attempt to recover and restart their season
despite the setback. Their success will surely depend on Ronaldo, who will aim
to atone for his recent outbursts by giving a strong performance in their
upcoming match.
Overall, Ronaldo's conduct both on and off the field has been
under intense scrutiny recently. It is unknown how he will respond to the
strain of competing at his best with Al-Nassr despite the fact that he may be
one of the greatest football players of all time given his questionable
behavior.
