Brad Hogg's Funny Story of Fired Ganguly on First Test

Brad Hogg, a former Australian cricketer, recently revealed a humorous story from his 1996 Test debut against India. Hogg, who took over for the illustrious spinner Shane Warne, described how he eliminated Indian batsman Sourav Ganguly from the game.
In order to bowl to Ganguly, Hogg, who had only been bowling
leg-spin for two years, came around the wicket. Mark Taylor, the team's
captain, confronted him and criticized his choice to bowl around the wicket.
Hogg answered that he was just trying something new and wanted to put some
pressure on. But when Taylor questioned him about how he intended to free
Ganguly, Hogg said, "I'm not Shane Warne, Mark. My bowling experience is
barely two years. I don't know what I'm doing."
Taylor nonetheless assisted Hogg in preparing the area for
the subsequent ball. Ganguly struck the opening ball for a six, but Hogg was
told by Taylor to bowl outside leg-stump, which ultimately resulted in Ganguly
being dismissed. Hogg's maiden Test wicket came when Mark Waugh successfully
intercepted the ball at first slip.

a half years to win another Test. India defeated Australia in that game, but
