NEFTU hosts an exhibition of innovative science projects to honour National Science Day.
The National Science Day exhibition
To celebrate National Science Day on Tuesday, the department of education at North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) hosted a scientific project display on the campus. Science model contests and PowerPoint presentations by BEd department students were part of the event, which intended to increase the scientific knowledge of university students and teachers.
Dr. Annu Devi, the Dean of Education and the organizing
secretary presented a thorough explanation of National Science Day's
importance and relevance to the audience. The exhibition served as a venue for
students to present their originality, ingenuity, and scientific expertise.
The attendance of top researchers from the Indian Council
of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Basar, notably Dr. Doni Jini, was the event's
standout feature. In addition to exploring career options outside of
white-collar occupations, Dr. Jini recommended the students to lessen their
reliance on technology. He underlined the value of a comprehensive education
that allows students to get the skills they need to succeed in their chosen
industry.
A variety of science models, such as a solar-powered
automobile, a model of the human digestive system, and a functional windmill,
were on display during the show. The kids' models displayed their inventiveness
and resourcefulness as they made use of a variety of materials, including cardboard,
thermocol, and wires.
The BEd students' PowerPoint presentations addressed a
wide range of subjects, including the value of science instruction in
educational institutions, the contribution of science to sustainable
development, and the effects of technology on society. The presentations
allowed the students to demonstrate their research and speaking abilities and
were insightful and educational.
Faculty members and students from all departments attended
the occasion, and everyone seemed to like the show. At the conclusion of the
event, the judges for the scientific model competition commended the children
on their originality and inventiveness.
On National Science Day, the faculty of education at NEFTU
hosted a scientific project display that was a great success. The event not
only gave students a platform to share their scientific creativity and
expertise, but it also raised attendees' level of scientific awareness. Senior
scientists' attendance at the event and their insightful counsel to the
students gave it greater meaning and motivated the students to research their
career options in science and teaching.
