Scholarships for overseas students are announced by the
British Council.
19 UK universities and the British Council are partners.
Women who want to pursue post-graduate degrees in STEM fields at prestigious UK institutions now have an exciting option thanks to the British Council's collaboration with 19 UK universities. The award, which is solely accessible to women, is intended for STEM graduates who want to continue their studies in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
The program, which will offer an early academic
fellowship, is also open to women who have already earned their Ph.D. in a STEM
field. Women from a variety of nations, including the Americas, South Asia,
East Asia, Western Balkans, Central Asia, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, and Turkey,
are intended to profit from the scholarship.
Applicants must show a need for financial assistance and
be prepared to enroll in a master's program or accept an early academic
fellowship for the school year 2023–2024. Successful candidates will also get
financial support, IELTS support for English language proficiency, and special
support for moms.
The scholarship offers substantial advantages, including
as financial aid that pays for tuition, a stipend, travel expenses, visa fees,
and health insurance premiums. For those who are unable to pay for their
education, this will be a relief that will allow them to concentrate solely on
their studies.
In order to be considered for the scholarship, Indian
women candidates must apply for master's programs at Coventry University, the
University of Bath, and The University of Manchester. The University of
Edinburgh or Imperial College London is the place to apply for women who are
interested in an early academic fellowship.
For both Master's Scholarships and Early Academic
Fellowships, only applicants from the following countries are eligible: India,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia,
Burma, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Only women candidates from the
following countries are eligible for master's scholarships: Albania, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia,
Uzbekistan, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru,
Venezuela, and Egypt.
With the help of this scholarship, women from all over the
world will get the chance to pursue STEM degrees at some of the best
universities in the UK. It is admirable that the British Council is committed
to assisting women in these professions, and this will have a big influence on
the lives and careers of those who are selected.
